pleasure studio
pleasure studio, the creative endeavor of Emory A. O'Malley and Jozef O'Malley, is an experiment in expanding our collective capacity for joy and satisfaction, affirming that these are basic human needs.
The goal of pleasure studio is to facilitate recognition of where pleasure shows up so that we can bring that knowledge into all parts of our lives and encourage those around us to do the same. Our writing, facilitating, and teaching explores pleasure, care, and the radical imagination of a better world.

common room
Common Room is a series of weekly missives ranging from personal essays to media criticism to political commentary to poetry, with a focus on what it means to be human and how to work toward a liberatory future for all.
I miss spending time in my dorm’s common room, chatting with friends (ah! to be young and certain of one’s budding brilliance). This, I think, is the next best thing.
